Let Google index the videos too.
Every published video ships VideoObject structured data with its title, thumbnail, upload date and duration, so a product page can earn a video result rather than just a blue link. A video you never named borrows the tagged product's name, because no one searches for a file called 1.
The parts that matter
Real metadata, not placeholders
Title, description, thumbnail URL, upload date and ISO-8601 duration taken from the actual file, so the markup validates rather than merely existing.
On the page that matters
The markup renders on the page the widget is on, which for most stores is the product page. That is the one you want the video result pointing at.
A real off switch
Turning Video SEO off removes the markup rather than leaving a stale copy behind. If you have your own schema, we get out of the way.
Nothing to maintain
Re-upload or retitle a video and the markup follows. There is no second place to keep in sync.
Every format, running right here
Not screenshots. This is the same widget your storefront gets, with a real feed in it. Scroll it, tap a video, open a product.
The videos that markup describes
The JSON-LD above is generated from videos exactly like these: the title, the thumbnail, the duration and the upload date all come off the file.

Publish a video
The markup is generated from the file and your title.
Leave the toggle on
It ships on. Advanced settings has the switch if you want it off.
Let Google re-crawl
Then check it in Search Console's rich result report.
Video SEO is on the free plan, on by default.
SEO metadata for videos is a common premium-tier line item, sometimes on a plan near $100 a month.
Questions about search
Will this conflict with my SEO app's schema?
It adds VideoObject entries, which most SEO apps do not emit. If yours does, turn ours off in Advanced settings and the markup is removed.
How long until videos show up in Google?
That is Google's call, not ours. Structured data makes a video eligible for a video result; it does not guarantee one, and re-crawling takes as long as it takes.
